Dental Montreal is proud to be the first dental office to offer Fastbraces® Technology in Quebec. Discover how Dental Montreal and Fastbraces® can team up to help you truly LOVE your smile, maybe for the first time ever!
How are Fastbraces different than traditional braces?
Traditional braces align your teeth into optimal position in two stages usually over a two year period. During the first year, the tooth’s crown is aligned; while during the second year, the tooth’s root is aligned. In comparison, the Fastbraces innovative system employs a triangular bracket and a specially shaped square wire to align the tooth’s root position right from the beginning. Because it realigns the root and crown at the same time, it dramatically cuts down the treatment time.
How long does the treatment last?
Treatment usually last from 3 months to about 1 year. However, it’s not uncommon to start seeing results in a few weeks.
Are Fastbraces uncomfortable or painful?
Research shows that Fastbraces produce less friction and pain with fitting front and back teeth together.
Will I have to wear a retainer?
Once you complete treatment, you will have to wear a retainer for 15-20 minutes a day. However, you can wear it at night, which allows you to get on with your day.
